Talkin bout my generation

After watching the CBS News program on climate change last night, I can't help but feel disappointment in my generation of Americans. We were the ones who started Earth Day and were concerned about our environment. I remember discussions in my engineering classes in the mid 70s that our impact on the planet was not sustainable. And that impact accelerated throughout the intervening decades. So now, here we are 30 years later and we are on the verge of disaster. What are my fellow hippies doing about it? Driving Hummers. Opposing wind power generation. Invading other countries to get oil. Very disappointing.
