Egyptian people triumph

I have been watching the events unfold in Egypt with some interest. I just read that their President, Mr. Mubarak, has resigned. WOW! I have been inspired by the courage and tenacity of the people of Egypt in rising up against over a half century of dictatorial rule.
This uprising has taken tremendous courage and shown remarkable restraint. Good luck to the people of Egypt, you have certainly earned a chance for greater democracy and freedom. I hope the future holds both for them.

The people of Egypt are free just like the animals at the New Bedford zoo are free. A dictator is gone and another dictator will take it's place because the military rules. Muslims through out Egypt are having a great old time but the military shall decide when and who will run their country.
I'm happy for the people of Egypt but they only know of one form of governing and it's call dictatorial with a strong military influence. Do you really believe that Egypt will become a true democracy and if so how corrupt will the elections truly be. Democracy is not freedom. Freedom to chose democracy is freedom.
Only time shall tell where and what will happen to Egypt. I believe they will follow in the same foot prints that shook and rule Iran.
It's time to bring all American troops back to the U.S.A. It's time to bring all American jobs back to the U.S.A. It's time for America to mind it's own business. It's time to allow our system of democracy to create jobs, provide for those who can not work. Improve our infrastructure. Strong military bases along the East and West coasts. Provide quality education. Stop buying oil from our enemies.
It's only a matter of time before the Iraq religious factions will begin to disrupted their government and ask for more U.S. Troops. It's only a matter of time when the new Egyptian government will begin to intrude on Israel.

The Eqyptian people sent a powerful message to the world, and it was non-violent. This is a process which will take time and they most likely will not have a democracy like ours. It is for the Egyptian people to decide, not us. They have taken the first step.
