Once again, Bill, thanks for the Dylan. As you know, this song title is a play on the name of Dylan's first wife, Sara Lownds. Sara is the mother of Wallflowers lead singer Jakob Dylan. Sara is also widely believed to be the "inspiration" behind "Blood on the Tracks," what many see as Dylan's greatest album.

My son's name is Dylan. As you can guess, I'm a big Bob Dylan fan. I appreciate good song writing. About two weeks ago, my wife and I went to the Zeiterion to see "Los Lonely Boys", a band we'd seen before at the Cape Cod Melody Tent. Just before they came on, we got to see this guy named Alejandro Escovedo, a rocker who lives in Texas. I'm a big music fan (or so I thought) but I'd never heard of him. Come to find out he's been in the music business for 30 years, has a great voice, plays great guitar, and is a terrific songwriter, with good lyrics and catchy musical hooks. That night at the Z, I bought his CD, "Real Animal". Within a few days, I bought virtually every CD that he's made. I have the same feeling today about Alejandro Escovedo's music as I did when I first got introduced to Bob Dylan's music by my college roommate. Fellow Dylan fans: Please do yourselves a favor and take a listen to this guy. You can hear a few of his most recent songs on his website: www.alejandroescovedo.com. Once you do, you might ask yourself the qustion I keep asking myself: How is it possible I never even heard of this guy before?
