Wind turbine ballons fly tomorrow July 7

From Dr. DiPippo of the Alternative Energy Committee

I just this minute learned that Atlantic Design will be hoisting two balloons tomorrow (Tuesday, July 7) at the proposed sites for the wind turbines. The balloons will mark the tip of the blades for 100-meter towers and they should be up and visible from about 8 AM until noon.
Photos will be taken from a number of vantage points during the morning.
Please put this notice on the Alternative Energy web page ASAP.

Many thanks.
Ron DiPippo, Ph.D.
These balloons will be used ...

... to prepare photo images of the proposed wind turbines. By floating the balloon to the proper height, the computer generated image can be properly proportioned to give an accurate representation of the appearance of the tower and blades.

The Wind Energy Siting Reform Act is the newest attack on Massachusetts citizens' rights launched by this administration. We are opposed to this current attempt to silence citizens.

We ask that the Patrick Administration take note of the facts that illustrate the lacking due diligence, to the detriment of citizens, this administration exhibits.

We offer these facts to reveal to you exactly what you're attempting to fast track by way of introduction of the Wind Energy Siting Reform Act. And I offer that the reformation needed as indicated by the following facts, news, and events, is indeed reformation of the goals, policies, and deeds of the Patrick Administration.

This land is our land.
Here is a quote:

Senior VP of Vestas Peter Kruse:

“The only way forward is more turbines in virgin ground onshore,” and, “Politicians want offshore so they can avoid the Nimby discussion, but they are allowing a tiny minority to force the rest of the population to pay double for renewable energy.”

to Frank1 the only thing that will double over time is OIL...wind power is clean and affordable over time. oil prices double and Dartmouth will be not sending our tax dollars to Saudi Arabia and that is the main objective of this project

Frank, is your opinion based in fear?
Or are you unable to accept change?
Are you in the oil business? Is your last name Kennedy? Do you call your car a horseless carriage? Do you still look for leaded gas to stop knocking in your engine?

Grow up Frank - things are gonna change, it is alright.

And forget the ruse saying "we", you are on your own.
