Bill, what time, roughly, for the interviewing of the candidates for EA on Thursday morning?

The agenda on the town's website calls for an 8am meeting. I assume the interviewing will be shortly thereafter.

You must be kidding....right. You gave up Michael Gagne, to choose from one of those three finalist. One of the three, appeared to be from Wareham, the second should have stayed in Washington. Number three has more municipal miles then “money for clunkers” offered by the Obarma stimulus program.
Yup, chairman of the board Michaud, is taking the town in a new direction. It's time to buckle up Dartmouth, this ride won't end until April, 2010.
The next time the SB is looking for a new direction, just advertise at the Dartmouth Manore Nursing home. One more thing, did you not hear the SB chairman, informing his fellow SB members not to be too impress with the candidates credentials, and focus on their ability to communicate with interdepartmental people. WOW.....your one bright lawyer.

I'm not seeing Mattapoisett rushing to snatch Michael Gagne up.

I am pleased with the SB's choice of David Cressman. As far as Gagne goes, he is a nice man, but not a leader or take charge person. We've seen such a difference with Ed I. sitting in for him these last few months! Ed I. has done a great job! I'm sure he will do everything he can to help our new EA. Dartmouth needs a fresh new perspective, just as Tewksbury did. Staying too long in one position is not good for any manager. Kudos to the search com.!
