Community Preservation hearing on April 14th

There will be a public hearing on April 14th @ 7PM for review and comment on the 5 projects under consideration for funding under the Community Preservation Act in the 2010 budget cycle. The sponsors of the projects will present their proposals and take..

... questions from the Community Preservation Commission and the public.

We only spent double the CPA revenues this year. Let's see if we can break a record for the coming year. I hope to see $3mil in CPA proposals. Spend baby, spend!!! The people have spoken in the election. Let's leverage this town to the hilt. I don't have any children so I don't care if we put your children in debt. Spend baby, spend!!!!

Ahhhh, town meeting and the joy of spending other people's money. Can't wait till June.

I was very disappointed with town meeting last fall. Although the CPA didn't have enough money to fund all the projects, every item was approved except for the police state barracks. Now is the time to be frugal with available money and town meeting is overspending.
