It would be great if the Select board recognized the whole Music program this year with citations for winning the National Championship in Maryland and now the WGI championship in Dayton. This town does not realize what an asset this group is to the town.

Thanks for posting this, Bill. The kids, staff and parents (DSMA) put their heart and soul into this and it is great to win a championship but it means even more to be recognized by your own townspeople!

Thanks Bill! Not many people realize what an accomplishment it is for the band to win a National Title and now the Indoor Percussion to win a Gold in the WGI World Championship. The kids, staff and parents are very dedicated and work non-stop. Congratulations to all involved! YOU are Dartmouth pride!!!!!!!

Congratulations to everyone involved with the Extraordinary Dartmouth Music Program!

By the way, our music program is in jeopardy if the teacher's union does not include the proper wording to include the current A/B schedule at the high school. Mr. Trimble or Mr. Jones is there any way that you can look into the progress or lack of in this matter. It would be much appreciated by the young musicians, parents and music staff who are eagerly awaiting the outcome. Thank you.

This is a matter for negotiations and cannot be discussed (the details) in public. However, your feelings and opinions can be directed to the co-presidents of the DEA.

It truly is an amazing feat! These students, staff and group of parents work non-stop for months! It is fulfilling to see their dedication, motivation and hard work pay off! Winning the gold medal at the WGI World Championships is not an easy task as they are competing against the best of the best. Bravo to all who were involved in this bright spot known as the Dartmouth Indoor Percussion Team!
