Select Board budget info

I will scan and post some of the info given out at tonight's meeting tomorrow after work.
Good night. I realize it was a bit hard for those at home to follow along when you don't know what the Board members are looking at.

For no particular reason,

I was watching the meeting from home. A powerpoint would have been helpful to those who did not have a paper copy of the budget information. That leaves out EVERYONE except for the SB, EA, and Fin Director. Is this information going to be put on the town website? Or am I asking for too much!

Curt Brown was the only one attending the meeting that would have received a copy of the presentation, if anyone would.

In the past we all were able to see precisely what was being addressed. All of a sudden that changes. Why?

So much for transparency in government.

Yeah now that Mike's on the way out he's come up with a new way to bambboozle the arm chair pontificates. What a wiley mind that man has, we'll never be able to get ahead of him.

Oh I forgot to add,
wahhhhhhhahahahahhhahahh

To those complaining about transparency, please remember that this is a work session meeting. It is not a Select Board meeting. These sessions began when Kathleen Horan was chair. Very ironic that the SB majority is now being blamed for the previous board's actions. It is because of this NEW board that these sessions are now being televised. They were not in the past. Previous work sessions were also done mid-afternoon so most people could not attend them. That has now changed. Bill has always provided information on his blog and has been completely tranparent regarding town issues. You will not find most of the info posted here unless you have time to spend at the town hall or time to file "freedom of information act" paperwork.

Anonymous, 8:53, I was not criticizing Bill or any Select Board member, past or present. I was referring to the fact that Ed usually had a chart with his figures on it so that we could all follow along with his presentation. Maybe I'm too cynical. It was a surprise to not see anything, that's all.
